I have not forgotten about you, my dear personal blog.
I know that you are totally jealous that I've been so busy the last few days... going behind your back and all... talking to that hot and sexy hockey blog whore about that "position" on their "staff", and I know you're pissed because I didn't even take the the time to update you... but it was just talk ! ... I swear, I didn't think anything was going to happen! No! Really... I didn't...
And yeah okay... we flirted a bit... but then we really hit things off, and before I knew it we were talking on the phone about all kinds of crazy stuff... things you never do for me.... but... (calm down, don't cry now) .... and the whole thing just happened so fast... and I'm really sorry... but yeah, we kinda had sex...
No... it gets worse.... they are kind of pregnant....
Hey! Now there's no need for violence here! (okay, maybe there is, just don't hit me in the balls again)
Yeah... they are probably going to keep it... I know... I know... you really wanted kids too... but I'm sorry.
Oh? Yeah... we kinda named it already... I really liked "Cluster Pucks"... you know, family ties and all...
No... they already posted it... there's nothing I can really do now... it's official.
Well... they kind of need me on a "daily" basis... yeah... they are pretty horny... but you know how much I love hockey blog sex!
I know you said we could do that too... and I'd like that sometime... but you know... they offered me something you just can't right now...
Readers...
Yeah babe, I know we have some... but it's just not enough for me right now... I mean their stream goes out to nearly 12,000 people on Twitter... and every now and then... they even get mentioned by that famous girl... you know... the american one... ESPN...
I mean everyone is really happy for me... they have all been really supportive about this decision...
But... I mean you and I know both know that it's too good to be true... right? You know how I am... I always get left for someone else... so you know I'll eventually come back to you... and I promise we'll have like 10,0000 hockey blog sex babies...
But we can still be friends... right?
Well I'm glad you understand... I mean it's not like I'm leaving you or anything... I still love you. I'm just going to be kinda busy with that... so we might not talk as much... but I can still tell you things I can't tell them... so you're still special to me... and I'll still be around for you... don't worry... we'll make it in the long run... I know it.

And to translate for those of you who might still be clueless for whatever reason....
I got a gig doing my own hockey blog over at Kukla's Korner. And yeah, it's kind of a big deal.

That's it's temporary home, until the end of August, once we get all the other new bloggers settled in, and then, before the season starts, all new blogs will all get their own "real" pages.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it... now I've got to get back to sorting out hundreds of hockey-related news feeds into organized lists... which will take a very long time... so, toodles, for now.

Why can't every morning start out this way?
So I've had a pretty good morning thus far... The Most Interesting Man in the World invited ME into his circles (not the other way around)... which by association makes me far cooler than any of you reading this, unless you are him, or Barry Melrose (who ranks a close second in awesomeness) . And while I was up all night I ended up connecting with a few other cool people from various parts of the world while I was working on the blog design.
Although I've realized this morning that my web-editing skills have grown very rusty over the years, and my design needs some serious work to actually look good. But at the moment, the writing project I have on my plate is of a higher priority, and I didn't have any time to work on it at all yesterday...
So assuming I don't get too distracted by the awesomeness that is Google+, or my fancy new phone, or how the hell I'm going to pay for my next pack of smokes, or when a friend of mine might call me to hang out before she moves hundreds of miles away for forever.... then hopefully I can actually get some writing done.
Wish me luck, for I shall need it.

Testing... 1....2... 3
For the sake of basic design, I needed a post to preview, so I copied my last relevant Google+ entry. Which is as follows:
So after thinking it over and taking Clare's advice... I ended up buying an HTC EVO 3D last night. I could care less about the 3D stuff, and was more sold by the sexy 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, plus the new Gingerbread OS is really nice too. But as a longtime iPhone user I have to admit I feel a bit like Anakin Skywalker though... I have gone over to the dark side... BUT IT IS STRONGER; Yoda was totally wrong. I've hardly scratched the surface of all the crap my phone can do... but I love it.
On the flip-side, I ended up spending more money than I initially planned on... and one of my main reasons for getting a new phone in the first place (aside from the sad fact that my old one was dieing) was to save some money, which I will be in the long run on my bill each month, but the initial hit to get my phone, screen guard, and case (and buyback plan and insurance) was pretty hefty... and really screws me over for about the next 3 weeks.
So if I suddenly go missing, you'll probably find me a dark corner somewhere going though some intense caffeine/nicotine withdraws, although the ladder of those two is something I've been trying to work on anyway. But it's not very easy when you're a bi-polar writer working on finishing a screenplay you've been sitting on for 2+ years, now with a self-imposed deadline of about a month to finish the first draft. Not to mention that it's not a easy writing project to begin with, as it's a bit darker and more dramatic than my usual stuff, but fear not kids, there will still be laughs here and there.
